This friend of a Financial Advisor was not a believer of insurance. One day, he was diagnosed with cancer and was confined for 2 weeks. More than half a million lang naman ang hospital bill. 😔

He texted the FA, “bakit hindi mo ako pinilit kumuha ng insurance?”

Ang sagot ko — “Di ba sabi mo di mo pa priority yan, tutal bata ka pa and healthy?”

Sa totoo, 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗸𝘂𝗵𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲!!!

Kahit gano kaganda ang insurance plan na ipakita ko sayo, kung hindi ka interesado, bale wala paliwanag ko. Since di mo nga priority, ang premium payment, expensive na yan para sa'yo. Kung hindi ka pa ready paghandaan ang future mo, hindi ka rin magkakaron ng time para makinig sa financial advice ko at di mo tlga isa-sacrifice yung mga wants mo sa insurance premiums.

Sa totoo lang, wish ko tlga lahat ng friends ko merong life insurance + health back up fund. Pero hindi kita pwedeng pilitin. Hindi kita pwedeng takutin sa negative effects ng di paghanda sa tinatawag naming SADD (sickness, accident, disability, and death) events sa buhay. Dahil ang pagkuha ng insurance, dapat may sense of pride and fulfillment, kasi nagawa mo ang karapat dapat.

In the end, 𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗪 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗗𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗘. Ang trabaho ko ay lapitan ka, kausapin ka, at paintindihin na sa buhay, dapat may plano, may preparasyon, may kasangga! Kung confident ka na ang savings mo, mga kaibigang pwedeng lapitan, ang pamilya mo ang sasagot ng lahat na ito, at sila ang maaasahan mo sa panahon na gipit ka dahil kay SADD, sana lahat ng Pilipino may ganyang support system. Eh kaso, hindi, d ba?!?!

Ang mahal ngayon magkasakit!!!ma wipe out agad ang savings natin sa pagbabayad ng hospital bills.
Kaka start ko lang ulit mag-ipon dahil naubos yung naipon ko, dahil kailangan namin bayaran magkakapatid ang hospital bills ng nanay namin!!!
Ito ang namutawi sa labi ng isang anak na nkausap ko sa hospital kahapon habang hinihintay ko rin ang bills namin.
Alam mo ba?, ang sabi ko sa kanya, na meron kumpanya na willing siya tulungan na bayaran ang pagpa check up, mga laboratories, at magbigay ng lumpsum money to pay for all this?para naman mka focus ka sa pag pa pagaling👌
At dun nag umpisa ang pag inquire niya!
