A recent client meeting was supposed to be a straightforward application for additional guaranteed lifetime income.
As part of our process, we first conducted a policy review to understand the family’s existing coverage, current priorities, and long-term objectives.
During the discussion, we discovered that their goals had evolved since their last application. What made sense for them before was still valuable, but there were areas that could be further strengthened based on where they are today as a family.
We discussed their desire to build a more intentional legacy plan, create future benefits for their children, and reposition a portion of their savings into assets that could provide both protection and guaranteed lifetime income.
Rather than focusing on products, the conversation centered on outcomes:
• How much protection does the family actually have today?
• If something happens, will the children be adequately provided for?
• Are their assets working toward the goals they want to achieve?
• How can they balance protection, wealth accumulation, and future income?
After reviewing several options, they decided to enhance both the protection and income components of their overall financial plan.
We had a similar review with another family and uncovered a different concern. While they already had insurance coverage in place, the level of protection no longer reflected the responsibilities and financial commitments they currently carry. After evaluating their situation, they also decided to strengthen their family’s financial foundation.
The result was 6 policies across 2 families.
More importantly, both families walked away with greater confidence that their plans are aligned with the life they are building and the people they want to protect.
Special recognition to our advisor and Unit Manager, Leah, for exemplifying what it means to be an expert consultant. Rather than simply processing a transaction, she took the time to understand the clients’ situation, review their existing plans, identify potential gaps, and provide recommendations based on their goals and needs.
This is the kind of advice our clients deserve—thoughtful, personalized, and centered on helping families make informed financial decisions.
Thank you to our clients for the trust, and congratulations to Leah for serving with excellence. ❤️
