📢 BIR TAX ADVISORY | DEADLINE EXTENSION
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL TAXPAYERS AND AUTHORIZED AGENT BANKS (AABs)
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Bank Bulletin No. 2026-09 concerning the acceptance of tax returns and tax payments from taxpayers affected by the heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon.
📌 EXTENDED DEADLINE
Tax returns and tax payments originally due on August 10, 2026 have been officially EXTENDED UNTIL AUGUST 17, 2026.
📍 COVERED AREAS:
The extension applies to taxpayers in the following areas:
• National Capital Region (NCR)
• Ilocos Sur
• La Union
• Zambales
• Bataan
• Rizal
• Cavite
• Batangas
• Occidental Mindoro
• Benguet
• Pangasinan
• Abra
• Tarlac
• Pampanga
• Oriental Mindoro
• Bulacan
⚠️ Taxpayers covered by this advisory are given additional time to file their tax returns and settle their corresponding tax liabilities until August 17, 2026.
