🔴We work 8 hours to live 4.
🟠We work 5 days to enjoy 2 outings.
🟡We work 8 hours to eat in 15 minutes.
🟢We work 8 hours and sleep 6.
🔵We work all year to take a week or two off.
🟣We work all our lives to retire in old age and feel only our last breaths.
‼️Ultimately, we realize that life is nothing but a reflection of our own actions.
We have become so accustomed to material and social slavery that we no longer see all these chains.
And if you're 30 years old, and you're lucky because of your genes, diet, physical activity, or disease resistance, you'll live to be 80.
So keep in mind that you have about 2,600 weeks left.
If you have to work in a stressful environment, your immunity is not strong, you have bad habits, and if you bury your grandparents as soon as they reach their pension, it is likely that you will leave the world in your sixties.
The math shows that you only have 1560 weeks left. Only one and a half thousand Fridays.
But everything looks even scarier if you start counting how many holidays you have left.
If you are 30 and the pension is waiting for you at 65. that is, out of the remaining 420 months, I only took 35 vacations, and that's if it's allowed.
With each dawn of the new year, these numbers are decreasing.
The opportunity to travel the world is receding, there is less and less time left to realize dreams, to find an answer to the essential question - "What is the essence of life?"
And what happens after everyone's timeline ends?
After that, we will all become organic material that will provide resources for other life forms.
Sooner or later our works, our lives, our tombstones will be forgotten and it will be as if you never existed.
How creepy does that sound?
Can be.
But what scares me more is that with not so much time, we keep wasting it on stupidity.
We save, we prepare for a dark day, we are angry at the price of some skarmals or cabbage.
We try to tell someone how to live, we break spears because of certain religions or political leanings.
We take a year away from young people to learn how to shoot guns accurately at other young people from across the fence.
We fill ourselves with all kinds of taboos, prohibitions, rules in order to please someone.
I know a man who devoted himself to building a house for his family.
Went abroad to earn money for a dignified life. So that the daughter has her own room and the wife has a huge wardrobe.
The daughter grew up without a father, the wife went crazy from loneliness and the man with his dreams of a dignified life in the suburbs became a hostage, or worse, an exile, of that ill-fated house.
Having spent his whole life in flat walls and floorboards, he lost contact with the only loved ones.
Oh, after all, we could all relax a little more, spend more time with the people we love, engage in our favorite sports, favorite handicrafts, and most importantly - not make each other mad.
If you are over 30, you remember in your hand, a ruble, a coupon, a dollar, a lita, now you are clutching a euro.
You realize how temporary those papers with portraits and numbers are.
The real wealth is in the watch.
You won't save it, because your savings decrease with each direction of the arrow.
