Way back 1994, a group of Chief Executive Officers of different security agencies identified a need for periodic, updated and progressive training for their security personnel. They believed it to be an integral part of their services to provide their clients with the required elements of professional security and thus, the UNIFIED SECURITY TRAINING ACADEMY was born. emy, Inc. is committed to pursue the mandate of Republic Act 5487 otherwise known as the "Private Security Agency Law" as well as its amendments and directives. Its aim is to instill upon the trainees the three (3) virtues by which the academy lives by:
- SAPIENTA (knowledge)
- HONOR
- DISIPLINA (discipline)
Approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of its corporate existence on the 24th of March 1994, the UNIFIED SECURITY TRAINING ACADEMY stood ground for the existing agencies, albeit the lack of approval from the Security Agency Guard Supervision Division of the Philippine National Police (PNP-SAGSD), and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Once these were obtained, there was no stopping the unending list of participants wanting to be part of this tradition. Today, the academy is superiorly managed by its dedicated leadership amongst whom were icons in the industry, Mr. Emilio S. Gutierrez, Chairman and President , providing technical and academic information. In addition to its highly competent management team, the organization is currently under the directorship of Miss Helen C. Aquino, CPA, CSP, CST. The facilitators are comprised of certified individuals who have undergone and completed the following:
1) Security Trainers Training Methodology Course (STTMC)
2) Certified Security Professionals (CSP)
3) Certified Security Trainers (CST)
4) Certified Security Management Specialists (CSMS)
It has been, without any doubt, a far journey of existence for the UNIFIED SECURITY TRAINING ACADEMY and it still continues to spread its wings to embrace the nation in its efforts to provide the security of our country. Affiliated Security Agencies:
