I started working when I was only 18. My employer then does have SSS as part of their benefits. Ever since I was paying the contribution.

Alam mo ba na after 41 years of contribution, kahit maximum pa if I decide to retire at age 60 wala pang Php 13,500 ang nakukuha kong pension? Sa totoo lang bilang isang pamilyadong tao, di ko maimagine na ito lang ang magiging pera ko kung ngayon ako magreretire! Hindi kasya yan! At malamang pag 60 years old ako, di ko alam kung ano na lang ang mabibili ng kulang kulang 13,500.

People think that they have all the time in the world and they believe they do not need to prepare for the unexpected. To them, having such discussion is a waste of time and that insurance is just another useless expenses.

If you die now, what will happen to your family?
Can they still live the life they used to be, given that you're the breadwinner?
