Still managing tax transactions through manual follow-ups and multiple processes?
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), through Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 53-2026, announced the availability of the Taxpayer Portal and its pilot implementation for taxpayers registered under the Large Taxpayers Service (LTS)
The Taxpayer Portal is a secure digital platform that provides taxpayers with centralized online access to their tax information, including:
• Viewing taxpayer registration information
• Monitoring the status of filed tax returns per tax type/form type
• Tracking tax payments
• Viewing account ledger information
• Receiving system-generated tax reminders and notifications
According to the BIR, these features are intended to help reduce manual follow-ups and lessen the need for in-person visits to BIR offices.
The pilot implementation currently applies to taxpayers registered under the Large Taxpayers Service (LTS) and supports the BIR’s broader digitalization efforts.
