Still on a high from last night’s Starbright Annual Awards Night 2023! 💫
I can’t believe it’s already been a year since I said “YES” to this calling. 💗 It wasn’t an easy ride especially at the beginning but I praise God for sustaining me and for always keeping me grounded. Being with the right company, working with the right people (from Starbright agency to Northstar unit down to the assciate unit, Team LFS), doing what I do best while helping my clients protect themselves and their families, securing their dreams, and achieving their financial goals, are all confirmation from God that I am saying “YES” to His plans for me. And being fully aware of that has led me to achieve what I have accomplished so far. Truly, all praises and glory belong to Him. ☝🏻 Thank you, Lord. My heart is full! 💗
🏆💫🏅🎉🥳 It’s a great honor to be recognized as Starbight’s Rookie of the Year for 2022!
Woohooo! I’m so grateful beyond words! 💗🤗
So I am celebrating this milestone with everyone who has helped me along the way and to all who trusted and believed in me.
Thank you, dear clients. You are all awesome! 🤩😍🤗 Know that every proposal that I send out is well-thought out, keeping your interests, plans, goals, and dreams in mind.
Also, I’d like to thank my parents for being supportive and understanding. They were not believers of insurance at first. They were a bit concerned because transitioning from a regular-paying job to becoming a financial advisor is not their idea of how financial stability is achieved but they never questioned my decision. When I started doing this, they were the ones thinking of relatives whom I can approach and talk to. My Tatay even went with me to one of my meetings just so I can pitch our plans to one of his cousins. And going home late last night with a bouquet of flowers on one hand and trophy on the other is my way of saying “I’ll be okay.” 😉 This award is also for you, Nanay and Tatay. 🤗💗😘
Lastly, I’d like to offer this award to Lola Henia. I still miss you but I know and you confirmed it in my dream when you said, “Mabuti na ang kalagayan ko ngayon.”
I remember one of the promises of this “job” that made me jump ship is that “pag financial advisor ka, you can take a vacation any time and not worry about deadlines, KPIs, or ask for approval from a boss.” And although it wasn’t the type of vacation that I had in mind at that time, I was privileged enough to drop everything and be 100% present for Lola to take care of her needs in hospital for almost a week, and be with her for another week before she passed. I took one more week to take care of all the documents needed so we can give her the proper burial that she deserves. And in those weeks that I was not doing anything related to my job, no one asked me about targets, production, or KPIs. I got nothing but words of comfort and prayers, and love from everyone in the team. To top it off, I still get commissions and incentives from my production the previous months. I was able to AFFORD being gone for almost a month, and that’s what made being a financial advisor more rewarding. 💫 It’s a promise that was kept and I was able to experience firsthand. It was God’s way of saying, “Hey, I got you.”
