ELECTION FEVER IS ON & SO WITH BLACK PROPAGANDA.
Early this morning, I received messages from my supporters that a certain page Sulong Pamplona in cooperation with a troll account Benjie Arlante have besmirch someone's reputation. This fb page have posted that a Pamploneno who filed a candidacy as board member created a cooperative & scammed people. I surmised that there is no other person alluded to, but me. This is a dangerous precedent which is libelous in nature. We will deal with this later & unmasked the perpetuators and people behind the FB page.
My fellow Cagayanos & in particular Pamplonenos, I have not scammed anyone in my entire life and will never do that in the future.
The only inheritance that I can give to my wife, children, siblings and relatives is a good name of Tayawa. Just ask almost all Pamplonenos , friends, colleagues & acquintances who can testify to my good reputation.

To set the record straight, I am posting here all factual documents for your information. Hindi ito tsismis.
1. The Pamplona Cagayan Credit Cooperative was organized not only by me but by reputable persons of Pamplona namely Magdalena Ifurung Velarde, Francis Roger Telan, Gregorio De Los Trinos, Manuel Sinnung, Rosario Jimenez ,Gertrudis Bangalan and myself as Board of Directors.
2.The purpose of which is to encourage thrift & savings mobilization of members & to extend credit to members productive & provident purposes.
3. The officers are Jose Tayawa- Chairman, Magdalena Velarde Vice Chairman, Shane Lore Detabali -Treasurer, James Jimenez+ Asst. Treasurer , Alicia Banham -Secretary & Bannuar Baglig- General Manager
4. We have regular Annual Board Meetings
5. Funds were deposited to to a bank account in BPI where we have at least two signatories. Bankbook is with the Treasurer
6. We prepare regular financial report , the latest of which was Jan. 3, 2024 covering inception in 2015- 2019 when coop was closed.
7. The latest accounts receivable (pinautang sa members) was Jan. 3, 2024
8. We wrote a letter to all members dated January 3, 2024 informing them of the closure of the coop.
9. Most of the members have been refunded their capital even though the coop has cash flow problem.
10. There is still fund deposited with the bank untouched for years (dormant) which is under the care of the Treasurer. For your information , I don't even hold any money of the coop except the General manager/office manager/staff and the treasurer.
As in all new businesses , it undergoes lots of problems. The main reason why we closed the coop is that members have not repaid their loans (see accounts receivables schedule), and revenue cannot support the expenses.
For your information, the coop used our office/house for free, I pay the bills for Cagelco & food for the staff since their salary is very minimal. I bought all the office equipment for the coop to use just and I haven't charge any expenses for its operations.
Last January 3, 2024, I wrote all the cooperators informing them of the closure and to send us the bank account to refund. I refunded from my own funds/money majority of the cooperators after sending me their accounts. Those in this fb can confirm that. The other members have offset their contribution to their loans. The others (few of them) can get theirs anytime soon as long as the Treasurer will withdraw the dormant funds there and the unpaid members will send their bank accounts for transfer. My family, relatives and myself who are members have opted to donate their capital contribution & have not seek a refund.
The books of accounts is open to any member for scrutiny. I have done my best as the chairman of coop and I don't deserve this kind of treatment.
This is the true story,

To my kababayan and in particular to the people behind this Sulong Pamplona FB page, let's stop this crab mentality. This is the main reason why our town is left behind by the neighboring towns because you don't want someone to succeed for our town. Nakakahiya!
After weighing all things , I decided to do a supreme sacrifice so that I can help our town since I will be a part of decision making in our Province at the legislature if elected . Sino pa ang magtataguyod sa atin mamamayn kung hindi ang iyong abang lingkod.
The black propaganda will not deter me to stop what I know is best for our town.
Mabuhay ang Team Pamplona, mabuhay ang One Cagayan.
