The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) has just announced a major boost in protection for your savings! Starting March 15, 2025, the Maximum Deposit Insurance Coverage (MDIC) will double to P1,000,000 per depositor, per bank — up from the previous P500,000.

This is the first increase since 2009, reinforcing PDIC’s commitment to securing your hard-earned funds.
