The Bureau of Internal Revenue suspends all audit and field operations until lifted by the Commissioner.

This circular temporarily halts audit activities to ensure uniformity in procedures while the BIR undergoes internal review and alignment, effective immediately.

While general audits are paused, the BIR will continue working on:
・Cases prescribing within six (6) months
・Estate Tax, Donor’s Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Withholding Tax on land/share sales
・Retiring businesses
・Active criminal probes requiring immediate action
・Refund claims requiring an LOA
・Deadlines imposed by the Commissioner

📣𝗪𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟮

Minimum wage earners in the private sector will receive an increase of Php 30 to Php 33 per day starting November 2, 2025, under Wage Order No. RB XII-25, approved by the Wage Board.

The new rates apply to all minimum wage earners in both agricultural and non-agricultural sectors, regardless of their employment status or method of payment. The adjustment aims to help workers cope with inflation, transportation expenses, food prices, and basic household needs.

The new order grants Php 30 per day for non-agriculture and retail/service establishments and Php 33 per day for agriculture, to be released in two tranches, with the second tranche taking effect on December 15, 2025.
