Pursuant to RMC No. 36-2026 issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue, taxpayers are advised to use eBIRForms Package Version 7.9.6.0 for tax filings.

If you are upgrading from a previous version, follow these steps to keep your existing data intact ๐Ÿ‘‡

โœ”๏ธ Download and install the latest eBIRForms version
โœ”๏ธ Locate your old eBIRForms data folder
โœ”๏ธ Copy important files (Profile, Savefile, Logfile, etc.)
โœ”๏ธ Paste the files into the new version folder
โœ”๏ธ Update TIN format, if applicable (add โ€œ00โ€ for branch code)
โœ”๏ธ Verify your previously saved and filed returns

โš ๏ธ Important Reminder:
Donโ€™t forget to back up your old files from the previous version before making any changes or upgrades.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reminds employers to comply with the proper pay rules for employees reporting to work during declared holidays and special non-working days this April, following Labor Advisory No. 5, Series of 2026.

In line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to protect workersโ€™ rights and welfare, employees are entitled to the correct holiday pay for the following dates:
โ€ข April 2 โ€“ Maundy Thursday (Regular Holiday)
โ€ข April 3 โ€“ Good Friday (Regular Holiday)
โ€ข April 4 โ€“ Black Saturday (Special Non-Working Day)
โ€ข April 9 โ€“ Araw ng Kagitingan (Regular Holiday)
