📢FYI Taxpayers and Business Owners‼️‼️‼️

𝐁𝐈𝐑 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘: 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐞𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐀𝐆𝐄

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) advises all concerned taxpayers, Revenue officials, and employees currently using the eBIRForms Offline Package to download and install the latest version, eBIRForms Offline Package Version 7.9.6.0 or 7.9.6.1.

Older versions of the eBIRForms Offline Package will be discontinued and will no longer be supported.

Taxpayers are encouraged to update at the earliest opportunity and carefully follow the procedures in the accompanying User Manual, particularly those covering the backup and restoration of previously saved tax returns and related data.

📢 ATTENTION TAXPAYERS & BUSINESS OWNERS 📢

The Bureau of Internal Revenue has officially released Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 046-2026 regarding the extension of submission for 2025 Audited Financial Statements (AFS) and other attachments through the Electronic Audited Financial Statements (eAFS) System.

✅ Taxpayers who experienced eAFS submission issues on or before May 15, 2026 may still submit/re-submit their AFS and attachments until MAY 25, 2026 without penalties related solely to delayed submission.

✅ Those who already submitted via the prescribed contingency email procedure and received acknowledgment from the concerned BIR office are considered compliant.

📌 Reminder:
Always keep copies of your acknowledgment emails and ensure your submissions are complete and properly documented.

The Bureau of Internal Revenue has released Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 036-2026, announcing the availability of the updated Online eBIRForms Package Version 7.9.6.

Here are the key highlights you need to know:

✅ Updated filing rules for BIR Form 1701-MSM (for individuals under MICRO or SMALL taxpayer classification)
✅ New Alphanumeric Tax Codes (ATCs) for specific income payments
✅ TIN branch codes expanded from 3 digits to 5 digits
✅ Revised rules on Quarterly Income Tax Returns filing deadlines
✅ Additional bug fixes and system improvements for smoother e-filing

📢 NOTICE TO ALL CORPORATIONS

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has EXTENDED the temporary use of the 2020 General Information Sheet (GIS) Form for filing via eFAST until May 15, 2026.

This means corporations that are still setting up their eSECURE accounts (for access to HARBOR) may continue using the 2020 GIS Form during the extended period.
