Cash is king. Debt is evil.โ€

Pero pag-uwi, naka-add to cart pa rin.
Sinasabing โ€œneed vs want,โ€ pero bakit parang โ€œwant vs want vs want?โ€
And suddenlyโ€ฆ tahimik ang GCash.

Tayo โ€™yon.

Hereโ€™s the tea.
Money comes from debt.
Not from thin air.
Not from magic.

youโ€™re choosing to stay outside the very system you want to win in.

Hindi kasalanan maging careful.
Pero kailangan ding maging wise.

Hindi sinabing by fear.
Hindi sinabing by avoidance.
Wisdom, not panic.
Understanding, not escape.

Ganun yung feeling pag nalaman mong borrowed money is tax-free.
Yes. Walang tax sa inutang.

Kaya pala may mga taong confident umutang ng โ‚ฑ100k, โ‚ฑ1M, minsan โ‚ฑ10M pa.
Hindi dahil reckless sila.
Pero dahil naiintindihan nila yung system.
Hindi sila kalaban ng gobyerno.
Hindi sila prisoner ng fear.
Kaibigan nila ang wisdom.

At gaya ng sinasabi sa
Ito talaga yung daily bread nila.
Hindi magic.
Wisdom.

So paano nila ginagawa?

Una, they borrow against appreciating assets.
Pangalawa, they use borrowed money to buy cash-flowing assets.
Pangatlo, tenants or business revenue ang nagbabayad ng utang.
Pang-apat, refinancing.
Pang-lima, repeat.
Pang-anim, never sell.

Bakit never sell?
Kasi pag nagbenta, may tax.

yung heirs nila inherit the asset at a stepped-up basis.
Parang nare-reset ang taxable gains.
Clean slate.

Legal.
Smart.

Real talk.

Leverage magnifies gains.
Pero it magnifies losses too.

Kaya sabi sa
Hindi sinabing โ€œGo, manifest lang.โ€
Sinabing compute.
Planuhin.
Maging wise, hindi impulsive.

Kung hindi lahat ng utang masama,
at hindi rin lahat ng utang mabutiโ€ฆ
ano ang tunay na measure?

Simple lang.
Kung ikaw ang nagbabayad, bad debt.
Kung asset ang nagbabayad, good debt.

So maybe, the real question isnโ€™t
โ€œShould I avoid debt?โ€
but

Bago ka mag-scroll, tanungin mo sarili mo:
Am I avoiding debt because it is wise
or because I am scared?

Am I rejecting a tool God could use to grow me,
just because society told me it is evil?

Wisdom protects.
Ignorance destroys.
Fear keeps you small.

If something opened inside you while reading this,
a thought, a shift, a new clarity,
your support means a lot.
Stars, gifts, or kahit simpleng engagement
sila madalas ang nagbubukas ng daan for deeper conversations,
exclusive insights,
and minsan, those one-on-one moments
na hindi ko basta ginagawa sa lahat.

Stay close.
Stay connected.

The Power of Quiet Productivity

In todayโ€™s workplaces, we celebrate energy, visibility, and constant activity. But sometimes, the loudest presence is not the most impactful.
Recently, I came across a beautiful analogy that truly made me pause:

The โ€œFishโ€ Employee
Quiet. Steady. Purposeful.
They move beneath the surface, not seeking attention, yet delivering depth, clarity, and long-lasting value. Their work is like caviar rare, refined, and deeply impactful.

The โ€œChickenโ€ Employee
Active. Vocal. Always seen.
They fill the environment with movement and noise. Their output may be visible, but often small one egg at a time.
This made me reflect on wellbeing and recognition in the workplace.

We often applaud the visible ones the speakers, the movers, the loud achievers. But we sometimes overlook the quiet contributors the thinkers, the planners, the calm problem-solvers.

True productivity isnโ€™t about being seen. Itโ€™s about contributing meaningfully.
Itโ€™s about creating value even when no applause follows.

Itโ€™s about showing up with consistency, integrity, and quiet excellence not noise.
As leaders, colleagues, and team members, may we learn to appreciate both types and especially remember to value those silent pillars who hold the organization together without demanding a spotlight.

To all the โ€œfishโ€ out there keep swimming. Your calm, deep currents change the tide.
