We got a call earlier from an existing insurance policy holder. His concern is he want to know the status of his policy since he's not getting the mails anymore, to cut the story short, he's one of the affected residents of the Marawi siege and he lost all of his files and he believed that the mails are being sent to their old address. Of course, we explained the process to help him do so, but we also asked why did he not seek guidance from his former advisor. It seems that he tried to reach his original advisor but said that he already resigned and should call the main office for his concern. Now, client looked online and happened to call our number. We guided him through the process and routed him to our main hotline, got a text from him thanking us for the assistance.
To my co-advisors and agents, regardless of what company you are representing, always inform your clients about everything that concerns them, yes including your resignation. Provide them the contact details who will they reach if you are going to leave. Posting this one because we already got numerous calls from people with the same concern. Not that we're complaining, but we just think that a proper turn-over should be automatic. Peace out, Pare.
