𝐿𝑖𝑓𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑢𝑛𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒.

Two years ago, one of my clients - who is a breadwinner - took a term life insurance plan worth ₱1M plus ₱1M accidental death benefit. He wanted to make sure his family would be protected.

Last year, life got busy. Priorities changed. He decided not to renew.

Then, isang biglaang aksidente recently while riding his motorcycle took his life in an instant. 😢

As painful as it is to say, his insurance was no longer active. And there was nothing I could do.

This is such a painful reminder: 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬:

1. 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡—𝑖𝑡’𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑢𝑛𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒. Accidents don’t check our schedules or financial readiness.
2. 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑠 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛. Hindi lang ito para sa atin, kundi para sa pamilya natin.
3. 𝐵𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎 𝑏𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑟 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑠 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑝𝑠. Kahit busy, plan ahead.
4. 𝑆𝑚𝑎𝑙𝑙, 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑡𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑠𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑎 𝑓𝑎𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑦 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑑𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝 𝑡𝑜𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑜𝑤.

This app makes managing your life insurance policy, mutual funds and UITFs accounts so much easier and more convenient. You can view your insurance coverage and investments anytime, check your fund values, pay premiums, download documents, and so much more - all in one place. 💛

Here’s a simple guide to help you get started:

📱 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗣𝗛 𝗔𝗽𝗽

1️⃣ 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽 from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and install.

2️⃣Tap 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 when the app opens.

3️⃣𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱/𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Make sure to enter the email address and birthdate to match the record with Sun Life.

The death benefit claim was approved last November 14, 2025. And on November 19, 2025, the proceeds of my client's life insurance were successfully credited to the bank account of his nominated beneficiary. At ang feedback ng pamilya? “𝘈𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘰. 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘪 𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘯.”
