I’m happy to share my first success claim story as a financial advisor.
As a financial advisor, I did not expect that it could be heartbreaking and happy at the same time whenever we are helping our client with claims procedures.
Story time: This client of mine is someone who is close to me as we, somehow, grow old together. She is 26 years old. Her policy was approved last May, and in August, she went to a doctor because of the pain she feels in her lower right belly. She was diagnosed with early acute appendicitis, and guess what? A tumor was also found on her left o***y, which was also removed during the operation. She was in the hospital for merely 5 days.
Since daily hospital income benefit (DHI) was attached to her policy, I then submitted all the requirements for claims, and after 15 days, my client received the money on her account. I’m so happy that what my/Prulife promised was delivered.
Now if you think that my work is done here, no, for me it’s just the start. The tumor that was removed from my client was cancerous, and she needs to do another set of tests to know what procedures she needs to undergo.
Since cancer is one of the 36 critical illnesses covered by her insurance, we are now processing the claims for the said benefit, which is 1 million, and hoping it gets approved. 🙏🏻
Imagine what would happen if I did not pursue this friend of mine. In curing cancer, you will need a lot of money for the tests and everything, and after the diagnosis, she's no longer insurable.
So yes, heartbreaking and happy at the same time. And to those who are reading this, please, if you can add insurance to your monthly bills, then go ahead and add it; it will help you a lot if anything happens.
I am also asking for your prayers for my friend even if you don’t know her and for our CI claim to be approved. One prayer will do. 🫶
