Have you experienced this?
Nagbabasa ka ng personal finance blog then bigla mo maiisip..
"OhmyGosh! I'm not so good in handling money, I spent so much on __________"
or your guilt will tell you:
"You spent money on the things you like, you should feel bad about it"
I experienced this before and hindi naging maganda ang epekto sa akin. I felt sorry for spending things for myself. Tried to cut fun to save money, but in the long run, hindi rin ako nakasave and nakapagresult pa ito ng impulsive spending.
Here's what I learned.
You can be good at handling money and still spend on things that make you happy. There's only one thing that you can do. SET A FUN BUDGET.
Every payday, decide on the amount you will set aside as your fun budget. You can do anything with this fun budget - bumili ng bagong shoes, damit, kumain sa labas with friends, magbakasyon, etc.
This is the secret for guilt free spending. You are giving yourself a chance to do anything with your money - but only with money set aside as your FUN BUDGET.
You deserve to enjoy your hard earned money. Enjoy life!
Balance your wants with your needs and with your long term goals.
Life is good. Enjoy every moment of it. Have fun π
