Ang mag-Tipid, mag- Ipon, mag-Invest things we should've learn at early age. 🙂
Insurance is an Investment 💰💸
"BAKIT BA NATIN PINAGUUSAPAN YAN?"
I'm sure ikaw rin - you also hate talking about insurance. Lalo na kung bata ka pa tsaka hindi ka sakitin. Nagvivivtamins ka pa. Tsaka oo nga naman, parang pinaghahandaan natin yung pagkawala natin.
I had mixed emotions when I heard this from one of my clients - "SAYANG. SANA MATAGAL KO NG NALAMAN YAN. PARA BATA PA LANG AKO, NAKAPAGSTART NA AKO.”
First, I got so fulfilled because I imparted value to her. The other one is sad because I felt her emotions that she should have started it when he was young.
A few years after, I realized my regrets that I should have started it because I had the first-hand experience when part of my family doesn’t have an insurance plan.
Here are three questions you can ask yourself if you really need to get an insurance plan:
1. It’s better to get it 5 years too early than 5 minutes too late.
You can definitely avail even you don’t need it. But, you can no longer avail it when you badly need it.
That’s how insurance works. This is one of the reasons why I keep being persistent in reaching out to my friends and loved ones. I have a close friend that I wasn’t able to help in getting because he already had a lot of complications and health concerns.
Getting insurance is the most selfless thing that you can do for your family. It's either you'll leave the peace of mind to your loved ones or you will give burden when the time happens.
Death is inevitable. So, if it is 100% that it will happen, do you think you need to prepare for it?
2. Time can be your ally or your enemy.
One of the best traits I love in being a Filipino is we think of ways how to afford something at a cheaper price.
Di natin basta basta pinupulot ang pera kaya we should make the most out of every peso that we earned.
In getting insurance, it is based on your age. The earlier you start, the more it is affordable. If you can avail it at the most affordable price today, would you be happy to start?
3. When is the best time to save and invest? “Next time na kapag tumaas ang sahod ko, Kyle.”
Nakakapagod magtrabaho? Reward yourself with the things that you love. But sometimes, we tend to over-reward ourselves until we ask the question. “Saan napunta ang pera ko?”
Let’s enjoy life by buying and doing what we love. Just don’t forget to save and invest for yourself. The last thing you can do is you’re working so hard for so many years then you will realize that you haven’t saved and invested for your future.
And I believe you don’t want that to happen, am I right?
The best way to learn is to hear the stories of other people. We don’t need to experience their failures and regrets but importantly, we take action after hearing them.
I’m not here to convince you to start your insurance or investment plan. But let me ask you this question,
If you can turn back the clock, what is something na sana matagalan mo ng sinimulan early on in your life?
