"Make your money work for you" is such common personal finance advice that it borders on being cliché.

You may eventually be able to gain financial independence or build wealth through investing. But neither of those things can happen without first understanding where your money is going and learning better ways to use it.

Why don't Pinoys invest?

20's - Bata pa naman ako, saka na ako mag-save at invest. YOLO!

30's - Magsimula na kami magtayo ng pamilya bro, unahin ko muna pang araw-araw namin, saka na 'yan.

40's - May mga anak na ako, andaming gastusin sa school, pasukan na naman, saka na 'yan.

50's - Malapit na ako magretire, patapusin ko muna panganay ko para sya na bahala sa mga kapatid nya, saka ako magiinvest.

60's - Retired na ako. Wala na akong income. Sana nag save and invest na ako noon. Sana nalaman ko ng mas maaga.

Don't let that be you.

The longer time you have, the less money you need to save and invest for your goals (e.g. retirement). The less time you have, the more money you need to put in.

Better to save now while you have an income 😉

Your savings protects you against unforeseen events that can prevent you from paying bills on time or meeting emergencies.

Saving money is just as important to financial responsibility.
