Ang buy term invest the difference strategy ay maganda dahil sa flexibility.

Sa strategy na ito, Buy Term (inexpensive term insurance, for high coverage) tapos ang difference o savings sa premium/contribution ay maaring magamit sa ibang bagay. Halimbawa:
-- habang bata ang anak, maaring bumili ng dagdag na coverage.
-- habang may utang, pambayad ng utang
-- habang walang emergency fund, itabi pang emergency
-- kung kulangin sa college fund, gamitin pang education
-- kung na-invest na, may option na ilipat sa mas magandang investment

4 Reasons Why Planning for Retirement is Important.

1. SSS is not enough - it will not sustain your medical bills and you will need to downgrade your lifestyle if you will depend on SSS alone.

2. INFLATION - Your 1 peso right now will have lesser value in the future.

3. OUR KIDS is not our retirement fund - part of pagtanaw ng utang na loob culture. We need to break this culture of dependency. Let us not be a burden to our kids in the future.

4. WE LIVE LONGER - Imagine retiring at the age of 60 with no income then living until the age of 80, that's 20 years worth of expenses, 60 years old too far to imagine right? How about taking a vacation for a month with no salary?

Why do people drown in Debt (UTANG)? 🤔

"Debt is already embedded in our culture".

We must know how to classify Good/Bad Debt.
Reasons:

1. Misinformation of the society →They feed us with wrong information that DEBT is good. (NORMAL LANG ANG UTANG ABNORMAL KA PAG WALA KANG UTANG).

2. Living in a higher Lifestyle →Don't go broke trying to look rich. Buying things we don't need just to show up to impress people.

3.Too many people spend money they haven't earned. To buy things they want, to impress people they don't like...

4. Passed-On responsibility → After you graduate, it's now your turn to support your siblings' education or your parents' retirement.

5. Lack of Financial Literacy → This is the reason why you're not able to break the culture of Debt. This is the reason why you're not able to AVOID THE TEMPTATION OF SOCIETY..(Credit Cards, Car loan, Housing Loan, etc.)

It takes a lot of discipline on how to get out of debt...
