Sincerely, upon seeing the news about Kaye Abad, I suddenly felt fear.

Being in the insurance industry, questions like these instantly come to mind:
“Enough na ba akong coverage?”
“Enough ba akong benefits?”

Because cancer chooses no age.
I’ve seen so many testimonies of healthy and young people suddenly facing this kind of illness.

Maybe this fear also comes from financial trauma.
I know how expensive it is to get sick, even if it’s not yet a critical illness, especially when you don’t have enough funds or protection.

For a moment, I became afraid and started overthinking.
But I paused and prayed.

No “knock on wood,” but I truly believe that prayer, wise actions, and preparation still matter.

I hope more Filipinos will realize that protecting our health and preparing for the unexpected is not something we should neglect, but something we should prioritize while we still can.
