𝐁𝐈𝐑 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | NO MANUAL STAMPING of Annual Income Tax Return (AITR) 2024 & Its Attachments

Sec 3. Modes of Filing of Tax Returns.
The filing of tax returns shall be done electronically in any available electronic platforms (eBIRForms or eFPS, whichever is applicable).

Since the AITR will be filed electronically, there is no need to have it stamped “Received”. Instead, the Filing Reference Number (FRN) or the Tax Return Receipt Confirmation shall serve as proof of filing such AITR.

As for its Attachments:

RMC No. 87 - 2024 Q & A No. 4 provides that attachments to electronically filed tax returns shall likewise be submitted electronically, using eAFS or the eSubmission Facility, whichever is applicable. In case of unavailability of said facilities, the attachments can be submitted manually to the BIR district office that has jurisdiction over the taxpayer.

SEC 2025 Annual Filing of Annual Reports

- To all stock and non-stock corporations, including foreign branches, representative offices and regional headquarters;

For companies, which filed their AFS through the BIR e-AFS system, they shall attach the system-generated Transaction Reference Number/Confirmation Receipt issued by the BIR. in lieu of the manual "received" stamp.

Please be informed na may on-going tax mapping operations ang bir nationwide,but the purpose of this is to educate our beloved taxpayers. Wag pong mag alala ang ating mga taxpayers na madadaanan at makikitaan ng violations. Wala pong ipapa impose na penalty sa mga makikitang violations, bagkus pagsasabihan lang na iayos kung anuman ang makitang violations ng mga tax mappers. Tanungin na din nila sa mga tax mappers kung paano i comply, just in case hindi pa nila alam ang dapat gawin.

Ang tax mapping na ito ay friendly approach kaya walang sisingilin na penalty sa ngayon. Ang purpose ni Commissioner Jun Lumagui ay ma-educate muna ang ating mga taxpayers, at bahagi ito ng kanyang programa na Service Excellence para sa ating taxpayers. Alalayan silang matuto at bigyan ng pagkakataon na iayos ang mga dapat i comply.

Wag mag alala at matakot kayat hindi dapat silang magsarado ng kanilang pwesto dahil maganda ang intentions ng tax mapping na ginagawa ngayon. Ito ay nagsimula na ngayong araw at tatagal hanggang sa friday.
