INSURANCE IS INDEED REAL 🙌🏻

Gusto ko lang i-share ang personal experience ko and why I truly believe na noble ang trabaho namin.

Last January this year, it was very hard for us, as my Papa peacefully passed away in his sleep. 💔

Noong September 2023, na-insure ko siya sa pinaka affordable na paraan. Ang goal ko lang noon was to make sure na protected siya. Na kung sakaling magkasakit, may mahuhugot kaming emergency fund from his insurance plan.

Pero hindi namin in-expect na mangyayari ito so soon… he went home to our Creator earlier than we hoped.

In the midst of pain, doon namin mas na realize kung gaano kahalaga ang insurance. After everything, we were able to proceed with his claim at kahit papaano, nakatulong ito sa amin sa panahong pinaka kailangan namin.

March 25, 2026 – AUM Jolens Garing assisted me with the death claim

March 30, 2026 – Completed all outstanding documents

April 1, 2026 – Pru Life UK emailed us: claim approved 🙌🏻

April 6, 2026 – Proceeds were credited to the beneficiary, totaling ₱434,520.00

Total Premium Paid: ₱75,000.00

This feels like one of those realizations people usually share after they’ve seen it up close.

The most expensive bed isn’t in a 5-star hotel or a designer showroom. It’s in the hospital. Not because of the mattress…but because of what it takes from you.

It doesn’t just drain money. It takes time. Missed work. Missed moments. It brings stress, worry, and that quiet fear that shows up when everything slows down.

When someone ends up in that bed, all the usual labels disappear. Income, status, achievements… none of it matters. The only thing that matters is getting better.

Rest matters. Checkups matter. Eating better and sleeping enough matter more than people think.

And health insurance or an HMO? Those aren’t luxuries. They’re basics. The kind you only appreciate when you need them.

Because the real cost isn’t the hospital bill.

It’s ending up there and realizing it could’ve been prevented.
