I just wanna share my client/my true friend's story. She was one of the most selfless and strongest people I’ve known—isang tunay na fighter. Alam niyo ba, despite all the hardships she went through, she never became a burden to others. She always prioritized the well-being of her loved ones and didn’t want to be a burden to them, even in her final moments.

Two years ago, kahit hesitant pa siya nung una, I've convinced her na kumuha siya ng SunLife insurance policy. Ang dami niyang tanong noon—“Gurl, kailangan ko ba talaga ‘to??? Worth it ba ‘to para sakin, sa pamilya ko???” Originally, it was meant to be an additional savings fund for her retirement years, but little did she know it would be needed much sooner, she passed away last September 7, 2024.

At alam niyo ba? Bago siya mawala, iniwan niya yung PAMANA sa twin sister niya, bilang beneficiary ng policy. This is not just MONEY; this is her ultimate way para masigurado na kahit wala na siya, inaalagaan pa rin niya yung mga mahal niya. Hindi siya pinabayaan ng SunLife—na-approved yung death claim request last Friday, October 18, 2024 at credited agad today Monday, October 21, 2024. Imagine, ganun ka-smooth at mabilis yung proseso!

Yung kapatid niya mismo, nag-share na simple lang ang proseso—hindi komplikado, and SunLife is true to it's promise. Sobrang laking tulong nito, knowing na kahit wala na ang kapatid niya, protektado pa rin sila.

🌟 Narealize ko kung gaano kahalaga ang pagpaplano. We don't have any idea of what's going to happen in the future pero kaya nating masigurong hindi magiging pasanin ang mga iiwan natin sa pamilya. Isang simpleng insurance policy, katulad ng ginawa ng kaibigan ko, pwedeng maging malaking tulong at pamana para sa mga mahal natin.

Naalala mo ba yung first time mo bumili ng insurance?

Ako? Oo naman, kasi nagprepare talaga ako ng 10,500 pesos cash eh.

3,500 per month yung first insurance ko.

April yun, 2018.

2016 palang nadinig ko na yung insurance, kasi may mga Financial Advisors ng nagrereach out sakin, nagpapaQuote pa nga ako pero hindi ako kumukuha (hehehe)

Sabi ko bata pa ako, hindi pa naman KAILANGAN!

I'm working as a call center agent sa time na to, maangas at ang yabang ko pa kasi aside sa base salary may monetary incentives and may PaGadgets pa. Aside from that generous pa when it comes sa other benefits like HMO worth 300K plus 1M worth of Life Insurance and a lot more.

Iniiisip ko kung kukuha ako ng INSURANCE, May babayaran pa akong utang, dadagdag pa to sa monthly bills ko.

BAKIT AKO BUMILI?

Kasi yung mga friends and officemates ko, they are talking about insurance.

Sila may insurance na, at mas bata pa sila sakin.

Wala pa ako napapatunayan pero sobrang yabang ko to think na di ko kelangan ng insurance haha!

In short, wala namang namatay or naaksidente or nagkasakit sa paligid ko para matakot ako at biglang kumuha ng insurance.

Nagkataon lang na norm sa environment ko dati na magkaroon ng insurance.

TAPOS NIRATIONALIZE KO NALANG:

* Mas mura habang bata pa

* Makakatulong ako sa career ng friend ko na life insurance agent na

* May makukuha ang family ko whatever happens

If walang mangyari, at least tapos ko na, may naitanim na ako, may aanihin ako in the FUTURE =)
