One of the question I ask during financial planning conversations is:
"Why do you want to get insured?"
Over the years, these are some of the answers that have stayed with me:
"I want insurance because if I get seriously sick, I know I can't depend on anyone financially."
"I only have one child. I don't want to become a financial burden to my family if something happens to me."
"I don't want to ask people for help. Everyone is already carrying their own burdens."
"I want to grow old with my children. But I know the future isn't guaranteed, so I'd rather prepare today."
And there are many more.
These conversations remind me that insurance has never been just about paying a monthly premium.
Behind every policy is a story.
A parent protecting a child's future.
A spouse wanting to lessen the burden on their partner.
Someone who values dignity during life's most difficult moments.
Someone who loves their family enough to prepare for uncertainties they hope will never happen.
That's why my client meetings are never simply about policies, premiums, or numbers. They're about dreams, responsibilities, fears, hopes, and the people who matter most. Because preparation is one of the purest expressions of love.
I'm deeply grateful to every client who continues to honor their commitment to the plans we've built together. A 100% persistency rate isn't just a business metric, it represents individuals and families who continue choosing, year after year, to protect the future they're working so hard to build.
If there's one message I hope you take from this, it's this:
Preparing for the future isn't about expecting the worst. It's about loving the people who matter enough to be ready for whatever life brings.
Your future self and your loved ones will thank you for it.
