YOU HARVEST WHAT YOU PLANT
Gina celebrates her birthday today.
“Happy Birthday, Gina! Thank you for being part of our life!”
Gina is the star of my book, “My Maid Is A Millionaire”.
She was born in a poor family in the island of Dumaguete.
When she started working for us as our “house staff”, we were blown away by how dedicated she was.
She was always looking for ways to serve us.
She said she wanted to finish college, so we helped enroll her in a correspondence school.
After 5 years, she graduated from college, and we promoted her to bookkeeper.
Today, she also manages our entire house staff.
11 years ago, I also taught her how to invest in the stock market.
Today, she has P2M in her portfolio.
But that’s not me. That’s all her.
She’s been very faithful in investing.
Today, she invests P8000 a month and even adds to it when she gets a bonus.
She is harvesting what she has planted.
I’m not just talking about money.
I’m talking about her faithfulness.
Her dedication.
Her hard work.
Her passion for life.
I BELIEVE THAT WE HARVEST WHAT WE PLANT
But there are 3 “Buts”...
1. YES, BUT NOT EVERY TIME
Because not every seed you plant will grow.
Some seeds will die.
Even in investing, some of my stock recommendations to her didn’t pan out.
She probably lost money in 1 out of 10 stocks, but the 9 winners covered those losses.
But in real life, it’s much worse.
Perhaps out of 10 seeds you plant, only one will bear fruit.
Out of 10 job applications, only one will accept you.
Out of 10 sales calls, only one person will buy from you.
2. YES, BUT YOU’LL HAVE TO PLANT MANY TIMES.
So with that depressing numbers, the key is to keep planting thousands of seeds!
3. YES, BUT YOU’LL HAVE TO WAIT A LONG TIME.
Gina didn’t become a millionaire over night.
It took many long years of investing and NOT seeing anything happen.
Friend, start planting.
And plant a lot. (Like really a lot.)
For a looooooong time.
And wait for your great harvest.❤️
