Being a Chef Is More Than a Title
When you enter the life of a chef, it is not just a title, a name, or a level of status in life. It requires dedication, patience, and being sure of yourself that you truly love this vocation.
This is not just a statement—this is real work. You will face long hours of rush, standing all day, moving fast all the time, sometimes not even able to eat, and often lacking sleep because of the long working hours you need to give.
Along the way, you will learn more, improve your skills, and gain new knowledge and techniques. What you learn in school is only about 10%, and the rest comes from real-life experience and hard work in the kitchen.
Despite all the difficulties, being a chef is fulfilling if you truly love it and have passion for the path you chose. The feeling is different and special every time you finish your goal and see people enjoy and be delighted by the food you made.
