📢 TAX ADVISORY | Delay/Non-receipt of system-generated email confirmation from eBIRForms

The Bureau of Internal Revenue advises taxpayers that delays or non-receipt of email confirmations from eBIRForms Package v7.9.6 may happen due to:

✅ Full or inactive email inbox
✅ Emails going to Spam/Junk folders
✅ Company firewall restrictions blocking emails from eBIRForms

If you successfully filed but did not receive a confirmation email:

🔹 Take a screenshot of the “Submit Successful” pop-up as proof of filing
🔹 Print your filed tax return
🔹 Proceed with electronic payment via BIR ePay facilities or Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) if taxes are due

If no screenshot was taken, taxpayers are still advised to proceed with electronic payment.

📢 BIR Update: Deadline Clarification for AITR 2025 Attachments

The BIR has clarified that the submission of required attachments (via eAFS) for the 2025 Annual Income Tax Return (AITR) is extended until May 15, 2026.

✔️ This applies regardless of when you filed your AITR (on or before April 15, April 16, or even May 15).
✔️ All taxpayers must submit their attachments on or before May 15, 2026.

No matter your filing date, your eAFS attachments deadline is May 15, 2026.

📢 BIR Update | RMC No. 38-2026

All businesses—especially online sellers and digital merchants—are now required to display proof of BIR registration both physically and online.

🔍 Key Points:
• A BIR Registration Seal/Badge must be posted on your website, e-commerce page, or online platform
• Your Certificate of Registration (COR/eCOR) must still be visibly displayed at your place of business
• The BIR now includes a QR Code in the COR, making verification easier and more secure
• Applies to all registered taxpayers, including online sellers and marketplace merchants

💡 This initiative aims to boost transparency, protect consumers, and ensure that businesses are properly registered with the BIR.

• 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗜𝗥 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺 1701-𝗠𝗦 (𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 2024) for Micro and Small taxpayers
→ Filing deadline extended to 𝗠𝗮𝘆 15, 2026 (per 𝗥𝗠𝗖 30-2026)

• 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗧𝗖𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗜𝗥 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺 1601-𝗘𝗤
→ Covers income payments to:

2. You have an existing Digital TIN ID in ORUS.

Guidelines in the Filing of Annual Income Tax Returns and Payment of Corresponding Taxes Due thereon for Calendar Year 2025

Taxpayers submitting their tax returns through the Offline eBIRForms Package are advised to capture a screenshot of the pop-up message indicating that a system-generated email confirmation has been sent to the taxpayer's registered email address.

The screenshot shall serve as proof of filing and successful submission of the tax return, which may be presented to the AAB when paying the corresponding tax due, particularly in cases where there is a delay in the receipt of the official email confirmation that the return has been successfully filed.
