Marcelo & Associates CPA's came into existence as a legal entity on January 27, 1999, with the imprimatur of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) upon issuance of Certificate of Registration 8835302. It was the company that emerged after the dissolution of LAURENA, MARCELO & CO., CPA's (a partnership organized in 1991); retaining 90% of the original clienteles. Marcelo, who has been in the p
rofession of more than 30 years, spearheaded the company together with majority of the employees of the former partnership. The company continued to engage in providing accounting services such as conducting financial and operations audit; designing and installing accounting systems; rendering management advisory services; and, other professional services. It was able to maintain professional relationship with existing clients and at the same time increase its list of clienteles. After two (2) years of operations under single proprietorship, the company decided to duly register with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a general professional partnership. To date, C. MARCELO & ASSOCIATES, CPA's services more than 50 clients from different business setups - manufacturing, services activities, trading, non-government organizations, real estates marketing, educational and financial institutions and professional individuals.
