Quick Guide for Clients Regarding Property Lot Number Discrepancies

This guide is intended for clients who may be unfamiliar with property records and existing issues involving inconsistent or duplicate lot numbers in the records of the Provincial, Municipal, and City Assessor’s Offices.

In some cases, property records may show:

Lot numbers that do not match across different government offices;
Double or duplicate lot numbers;
Old lot numbers that were changed due to approved surveys, subdivision plans, or cadastral mapping updates;
Differences between Tax Declarations, Survey Plans, and Registry records.

These issues are common in properties that underwent subdivision, consolidation, relocation surveys, or cadastral revisions over time.

Please note that verification and reconciliation of records may require coordination with the Provincial, Municipal, or City Assessor’s Office, DENR, and other concerned agencies. Additional memorandums, corrections, or revisions may also be issued upon review and processing of the documents.

For proper assessment and guidance, clients are encouraged to coordinate with the concerned government offices for evaluation and seek technical guidance from Licensed Geodetic Engineers.
