๐Ÿšจ IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR BUSINESS OWNERS, ACCOUNTANTS & BOOKKEEPERS

The BIR has officially suspended all field operations effective November 24, 2025. This means:

โœ”๏ธ No audits
โœ”๏ธ No fieldwork
โœ”๏ธ No revalidation or extension of LOAs

If you have expiring LOAs, be extra cautious, these may become invalid if they lapse during the suspension.

โš ๏ธ Be careful with waiver requests.
Some personnel may ask you to sign a Waiver of the Defense of Prescription.
Do not sign immediately. Always request formal written communication and respond professionally.

How to Use the Suspension Period Wisely:

This pause in field audits is a good opportunity to strengthen your tax compliance:
