(A Real Story)
OCTOBER 2019. I met a client who had a stable job and who was happily married. He gave me the chance of sharing to him the value of life insurance but due to some concerns, the application was not pursued at that time.
FEBRUARY 2020. I went to their company to deliver an insurance policy to his colleague and decided to drop by in his office to ask him if he is still going to pursue his insurance application. Finally, he decided to get not only one but 2 policies, for himself and for his wife. After completing all the requirements, their applications were approved after 3 days.
JUNE 2020. He got into a motor vehicular accident. The day after, around 6:00 in the morning, my brother, who happened to be his colleague, told me that my client was in critical condition. Unfortunately, on the same day, my client DIED.
OCTOBER 9, 2020. After securing all the requirements for the claims, PRU LIFE U.K. handed his wife the cheque with a total amount of 5.7 MILLION PESOS which includes the sum assured and accidental death and disablement benefits. Just by saving 30,358 PESOS in 3 months time with PRU LIFE U.K., his bereaved family received 5.7 MILLION PESOS.
Truth is, the value of this money doesnโt replace you if you die, but your loved ones will be assured that when you will not be around anymore (due to uncertain events), they will have this amount to start anew.
I thank God for the opportunity to help in fulfilling the promise. This profession taught me a lot on how to listen, to understand, and most importantly, to deliver a promise that is meant to be fulfilled. The time I delivered the claim was the time I was reminded again that this job is so much more than just sharing how to save and invest, closing a sale, attending to clientยดs concerns etc., THIS IS A MISSION NOT JUST TO HELP LIVES BUT TO CHANGE LIVES.
