🚨 Important Email Notice for Clients 🚨
We’ve become aware of an issue where important Xero emails (such as tax reminders and notifications) are being sent to Spam/Junk folders, particularly for clients using Gmail addresses, this is not ideal.

🔹 These emails are sent automatically by Xero from [email protected], which unfortunately sits outside our direct control.
🔹 Why does this happen? Gmail uses very strict filtering for automated emails, so even legitimate messages from Xero can be diverted to spam.
🔹 The good news: It’s quick and easy to fix on your end, and once done, future messages should arrive as expected.
If you use a different email provider and are experiencing similar issues, the process to resolve this is generally very similar.

What you can do:
If you’ve received a Xero email in your Spam/Junk folder, simply open the email in spam and click “Not spam” (or “Report not spam” on mobile). This tells Gmail the emails from this sender are safe and ensures future messages arrive in your main inbox.

⚠️ Please note: Marking emails as “starred” or “important” won’t fix the issue — it must be marked as Not Spam.

All Gmail users should expect to receive a detailed, easy to follow guide in their inbox from our team. We also ask that you please remain vigilant by regularly checking both your Inbox and Spam/Junk folders to ensure you don’t miss important communications.
