After living with cancer for a long period, it is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Lindsay Grace, founder of Grace Team +MORE.

Although Lindsay had been semi-retired in recent years, his values and influence have always remained at the heart of our firm. He believed accounting should be about people first, taking the time to understand clients, speaking honestly, simplifying complexity, and supporting others to succeed.

Lindsay led with empathy, care and intuition. His genuine interest in people, along with his humour, storytelling and quick wit, left a lasting impression on our team, our clients, and the wider Bay of Plenty business community. Many NZ businesses continue to thrive today thanks to his guidance, encouragement and belief in them.

We are deeply grateful for the legacy Lindsay created and the example he set for how we work with our clients and each other.

Service details are shared below for those who wish to farewell Lindsay. Our office will be closed on this day as our team comes together to attend.

We want to acknowledge the severe weather impacts affecting the Bay of Plenty and surrounding regions this week.

Heavy rainfall has caused flooding, slips, road closures, and power outages across the region. Emergency services continue to respond to multiple incidents, including significant landslides in Mount Maunganui and Papamoa, where search and rescue efforts are ongoing and some people remain unaccounted for.

Our thoughts are with our team members, clients, and communities who have been affected, especially those waiting for news of loved ones. We also acknowledge and thank those who are continuing to support others during this time, often while facing disruption in their own homes and neighbourhoods.

Please continue to follow official Civil Defence, council, and MetService updates, avoid unnecessary travel in affected areas, and take care.

🎄 Grace Team +MORE are proud to support Tauranga Community Foodbank’s Christmas Appeal! 🎄

The holiday season can be especially tough for many local families, and this cause is close to our hearts. Since 2022, Maria Hardie has been closely involved as Treasurer, helping strengthen the Foodbank’s financial foundation so it can continue supporting our community.

We’re collecting donations until 18 December and would love your support. Non-perishables, treats, nappies (sizes 3–6), sanitary items, and self-care products are all greatly appreciated.

Some of our amazing team joined the annual Hot Pink Walk in Tauranga, supporting Breast Cancer Foundation NZ and raising awareness for this important cause.

It was inspiring to see the community come together, walk in solidarity, and celebrate strength, hope, and courage. Every step counts in the fight against breast cancer!
