Mana Ahuriri Holdings LP and Hāpai Housing have come together to create Te Raranga Hāpai o Mana Ahuriri, a kaupapa focused on growing skills and create meaningful mahi opportunities for whānau in Te Matau-a-Māui. This initiative is supported by Ka Uruora and TW Group.

As part of this kaupapa, we’re offering two fully paid civil construction and infrastructure cadetships for rangatahi registered with Mana Ahuriri. Rangatahi will work alongside our housing development partners, TW Group, on housing projects we are building together across Te Matau-a-Māui.

Yesterday’s whakanoa at Korokio was a powerful reminder of what is possible when Ka Uruora and our iwi partners come together with a shared purpose.

Ka Uruora chair Jamie Tuuta was there alongside Ngāti Rangi, reflecting on the significance of the day: “It was a beautiful day in Ohakune, to witness not only the ceremony and the karakia, but the realisation of a collective aspiration – ten warm, dry homes for ten whānau.”

We’re proud to stand alongside Ngāti Rangi, and iwi across the motu, to help deliver housing solutions designed to help whānau to prosper.

Things are kicking off in Taranaki with Te Uru Ahupūtea, our free financial literacy courses, rolling out across the rohe over the next couple of months.

These courses will help whānau build confidence with pūtea and get ready for housing opportunities coming up in Taranaki. They’re easy to join, supportive, and open to all registered members of the iwi below.

Whitney is someone many whānau across the rohe will know well. A familiar face and a trusted wahine who is always ready to help where needed. Over the past few months with us, she’s been doing exactly that - walking alongside whānau ensuring they feel supported as they move forward on their housing journey.

She knows that everyone carries their own story, challenges, and housing aspirations, and takes the time to strengthen hononga and find practical steps that work for each person.
