Staying safe online !

Inland Revenue has reported over 500,000 recent attempts by cyber criminals to access myIR accounts. Two-step verification (2SV) has protected most users, but accounts without it remain at risk.

We Recommend you :
✔ Turn on two-step verification
✔ Use strong, unique passwords
✔ Don’t reuse login details across sites

If you notice any unusual activity on your myIR account, contact Inland Revenue straight away.

In-Work Tax Credit Increase from 1 April

To help with rising living costs, the Government is temporarily increasing the In-Work Tax Credit by $50 per week (from $97 to $147) from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 (or until petrol prices drop below $3/L for 4 weeks).

-If you already receive it, the increase is automatic
📅 First payments: 7 April (weekly) or 14 April (fortnightly)

You can also switch to weekly/fortnightly payments via myIR if you currently get it yearly.
