🐮Starting Contract Milking on 1 June 2026?
Make sure your finances are ready!

Stepping into contract milking this coming season is a big move. More responsibility, more independence, and the chance to build your own farming business.
But before you get underway, ask yourself "are your financial affairs in order?".

📃Get your business structure set up properly, whether that’s sole trader, partnership, or company.
💲Make sure you’ve got a solid budget, understand your true costs, and have your GST and tax systems sorted.
💲Make sure you’re fully registered with IRD before the season starts. It’ll save you stress later.
💡 Have your contract checked, build a good support team, and know your numbers!

If you’re not sorted yet, call us on 📲 03 211 0801 or email [email protected]. It’s far better to set things up right now than fix problems mid-season.

A couple of weeks ago, we had the chance to pause and celebrate some of the amazing people who make McIntyre Dick what it is. 💚

There's something special about people who show up, year after year, with the same care and commitment. Huge congratulations to:
Brad Phillips - 30 years
Craig Sutherland - 25 years
Craig McCallum - 20 years
Rebecca Cairns - 10 years
Eden van Leeuwen - 5 years
80 years of dedication between them. The care each of you bring to our clients, community and team every day is what sets us apart, and we don't take that for granted. Thank you. 🙏

We also celebrated three people who were nominated by their peers for living our values:
Sharron Anderson - Driven; own it, get it done
Andrew Martin - People Focused; care for each other at work and at home
Corina Gutschlag - Inspire; bring that something extra
Being recognised by the people you work alongside every day - that's the good stuff.

Proud of our McIntyre Dick team. Always. 👏

We feel genuinely proud to work alongside the Marshall Industries team, and to play a small part in their journey. They’ve continued to evolve over time, while staying grounded in what matters...their people, their customers, and doing the job properly.
