We are entering a team in Relay for Life in March- so we have started fundraising. $3 lolly bags for sale - party mix, jet planes, milk bottles and pineapple lumps. Box is at reception otherwise DM us and we can deliver. Great for a stocking stuffer or a mid afternoon snack!

We are proud to have run the Charity Golf Classic for 24 years and in that time we have supported 17 local charities.

This year we raised over $28,000 for Hospice Mid Canterbury, St John’s Mid Canterbury, Air Rescue Trust and Ashburton Cancer Support.

We look forward to the 25th running next year!

To all the golfers and all the organisers and sponsors of the 2025 Ashburton Charity Golf Classic. $2500 of the proceeds from the event was donated to Hospice Mid Canterbury and we couldn't be more grateful for the generosity shown by each and every one of you!

FamilyBoost changes are now law 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

The FamilyBoost changes announced in July have officially passed into law, and apply from the July–September 2025 quarter. Families can start claiming from 1 October.

Here are the 3 key updates:
✅ Household income threshold is now $57,286 per quarter.
✅ Eligible families can claim 40% of early childhood education (ECE) costs, up to a maximum of $1,560 per quarter.
✅ The abatement rate is now 7% for household income over $35,000 per quarter.

📌 Tip: Keep all childcare invoices from licensed ECE providers — you'll need them when claiming via myIR.
