* नेपाल सरकार र नेपाली जनताले श्रीलंकाली जनतामा **विपत्तिबाट उठ्ने दृढता र सहनशीलता रहेको** विश्वास व्यक्त।
* बाढीका कारण श्रीलंकामा **कम्तिमा १९३ जनाको मृत्यु**, **२०० भन्दा बढी बेपत्ता**, **२० हजारभन्दा धेरै घर ध्वस्त**।
* प्रभावित **१ लाख ८ हजार मानिसहरू अस्थायी आश्रयमा** बसाइँसराइ गर्न बाध्य।
* देशको **एक तिहाइ क्षेत्रमा बिजुली र खानेपानीको अभाव** देखिएको अधिकारीहरूको भनाइ।
* नेपालको यो सहयोग **श्रीलंकासँगको ऐक्यबद्धता र मानवीय समर्थन**को स्पष्ट संकेतको रूपमा हेरिएको।
