🌟 Empowering SMEs Through Investment Readiness 🌟

Under our flagship initiative Roof of the World, Aadhyanta Fund Management, with the support of USAID Trade and Competitiveness/Uhdyam, successfully organized an intensive training and workshop to strengthen the capabilities of Nepali SMEs, on 20th December 2024. This initiative aims to position local businesses within the global value chain by equipping them with tools to enhance competitiveness, adaptability, and access to finance.

As part of this effort, we hosted an insightful Investment Readiness session, led by Amit Koirala, Co-Founder of Aadhyanta Fund Management. With over 20 years of experience across frontier markets and leadership roles at American Express and Standard Chartered, Amit shared invaluable knowledge.

A total of 14 SMEs participated in this impactful session. Participants learned to craft compelling investment pitches, improve financial preparedness through auditing and forecasting, and build strong business models for regional and global competitiveness. The ROTW Team remains committed to supporting SMEs with tailored services to help them access finance and thrive in today’s competitive business environment.

🌍 Empowering Nepali SMEs for Global Growth 🌟

On 13th December 2024, under our flagship initiative Roof of the World, Aadhyanta Fund Management, in collaboration with NYEF-Pokhara and supported by USAID Trade and competitiveness/Uhdyam, successfully organized a one-day Open House session in Pokhara. This event aimed to position local businesses within the global value chain by equipping them with tools and strategies to enhance competitiveness, adaptability, and access to finance and investment.

A total of 25 SMEs participated in this impactful session, gaining valuable insights through two informative learning sessions. The first, Road to IPO, provided knowledge on IPO preparation, including regulatory compliance, financial readiness, and strategic planning, while also exploring alternative financing mechanisms like private equity to support effective scaling. The second session, Alternative Financing Mechanisms, led by Aadhyanta Fund Management, focused on non-traditional financing options such as private equity and venture capital. It covered critical topics including funding stages, value creation, governance, sustainability, and exit strategies like IPOs, empowering participants to leverage innovative tools for growth and scalability.

This impactful event empowered SMEs to leverage innovative tools for growth, sustainability, and global competitiveness.

Under our flagship initiative, 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, Aadhyanta Fund Management, with the support of 𝐔𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐃 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬/𝐔𝐡𝐝𝐲𝐚𝐦, successfully organized a two-day training and workshop designed to strengthen the capabilities of Nepali SMEs. This initiative is a step towards positioning local businesses within the global value chain by equipping them with practical tools and strategies to enhance their competitiveness, adaptability, and access to finance and investment.
The workshop covered two key areas critical for business growth and sustainability.

The first day focused on 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬, helping SMEs establish a strong online presence, improve customer engagement, and effectively leverage digital platforms for business growth. Led by an experienced trainer, 𝑨𝒋𝒂𝒚 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒂 with a fintech background, participants gained actionable insights into using innovative tools to boost visibility and expand market reach.

The second day emphasized 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐈𝐓 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, guiding participants on selecting and implementing technological solutions that drive operational efficiency and scalability. The session highlighted the importance of building a robust IT infrastructure to navigate market complexities and support sustainable growth. This session, facilitated by an expert, 𝑩𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒏 𝑹𝒂𝒋 𝑮𝒊𝒓𝒊 with extensive experience in business strategy, provided participants with the knowledge to make informed decisions on their technological investments.

Additionally, selected SMEs participating in this initiative are receiving ongoing 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐁𝐃𝐒) to further enhance their operations and resilience in competitive markets. Through this capacity-building effort, we aim to connect Nepali businesses with global opportunities and foster sustainable growth.
