Job description
• Purchase bunker for the entire fleet
worldwide.
• Identify requirements and accurately calculate the grades and quantities needed with the operator.
• Identify best port for replenishment based on the voyage ahead, cost and quality.
• Monitor prices and purchase bunkers in coordination with market movements.
• Negotiate rates, terms and conditions.
• Coordinate the entire bunker delivery in all ports by communicating with the operators of the vessels, ensuring timely and cost-efficient supply.
• Nominate surveyors.
• Maintain and create new relationships with bunker traders and suppliers worldwide.
• Collect Delivery receipts and invoices and ensure all documentation is in place.
• Handle claims with traders and suppliers.
• Keep record of bunker fixtures and demonstrate cost savings for the company.
• Maintain speed and consumption data for the entire fleet and ensure best performance of the fleet in close communication with the technical managers.
• Follow the day to day vessel operations and be integral part of operations department.
• Follow up with the vessel before, during and after the bunker operation.

Minimum requirements

• Experience in bunker purchase for spot trading fleet

From our offices in Amsterdam and Budapest we manage a modern fleet of 41 sophisticated chemical tankers. We operate our chemical tankers in a pool under the name of Ace-Quantum Chemical Tankers C.V. (see https://ace-tankers.com ). We trade our fleet in two major trade lanes namely Trans-Atlantic and Europe-Far East.

Our growing international team in Amsterdam, Singapore and Budapest comprises of 41 employees out of which 18 different nationalities. The Claims team consists of a manager and 4 other team members. We are now looking to strengthen our team with a Post Fixture Controller in our Budapest or Amsterdam office

Tasks included in the job:
- Issue freight invoices as per agreed Charter party
- Issue other Charterers expense invoices, as agreed in the Charter Party
- Calculate and negotiate Demurrage claims.
- Calculate and negotiate barge and coaster demurrage claims when used for transshipment.
- Issue Hire invoices for Time charter vessels.
- Issuing Off hire invoices.
- Collecting outstanding freight, disbursement and demurrage invoices.
- Handling demurrage negotiations and potential legal proceedings in lack of payment.
- Involved in a DA Desk / Disbursement Project
- Supporting the manager with optimizing the current procedures
- Other ad hoc assignments.

The person we are looking for:

- Demurrage experience is not a must, but definitely an advantage.

Job Purpose:

To monitor and control day-to-day ship operation and all related parties and ensure that all

tasks in this regard are performed in accordance with the company’s procedures. Vessel

operator is a very responsible position and often called upon to provide support.



Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledge of the specifications of all vessels under operation.
Check the suitability of cargoes for carriage and any physical constraints or financial effects.
Provisionally plan the stowage of booked or planned cargoes in compliance with all relevant regulations, vessel limitations and customer requirements.
Continuously be aware of the economic conditions under which the transportation of cargo can be performed for the customer, assuring the highest possible profitability of the concluded business.
Ensure full compliance with agreed Charter Party terms & conditions.
Instruct the Master and Port Agents with regards to voyage orders.
Plan in close cooperation with the vessels Master, local Agent and vessels broker the best possible port turnaround and monitor the vessels’ performance in Port assuring the best possible result.
Ensure that the Shipping System, forms and data are maintained correctly and are fully up-to-date and complete.
Plan bunkers for the vessel in the most efficient and safe manner
Ensure that vessels will be provided with standard cleaning chemicals stock and sufficient fresh water.
Provide Post fixtures team with all details required for invoicing, demurrage collection, and any other expenses to be charged to charterers in line with COA or C/P.

General description
A Junior Accountant is responsible for properly registering and inserting accounting transactions within the ERP system in the most efficient way and can assist in the preparation of payments to suppliers and other parties.

Responsibilities & Duties
o Responsibility for the ongoing (day to day) accounting transactions of Ace Tankers C.V. and its subsidiaries:
o Accounts payables transactions;
o Booking of bank statements and reconciliation with bank statements;
o Organizing and cleaning the supplier ledgers within the ERP system;
Various other accounting transactions.
o Preparation and follow up of payment transactions.
o Communicating various (accounting) related issues with vendors and or any other relevant parties.

Qualifications
 Associate degree in accounting, bookkeeping and or relevant;

The treasury position reports to the CFO and is responsible for monitoring the ongoing cash flow needs of the various operations and managing and controlling the various cash-flows between the difference group entities and companies.

Responsibilities & Duties
• Maintaining real-time information of bank balances of the various entities;
• Monitoring cash-flow needs of the various entities;
• Controlling the cash-flows between the various entities;
• Providing short term and longer term cash-flow projections of the various entities;
• Managing and maintaining an updated amortizations overview of the bank loans of the various entities;
• Main direct contact person with the banks for all correspondence related to opening and closure of bank accounts and all other compliance requests;
• Controlling the currency exposures of the various entities.

Qualifications & skill set needed
 Proven experience in a comparable position for a minimum of 5 years in a medium sized company;
 A Master or BS degree in Accounting, Finance and or relevant;

General description
The Assistant Controller is responsible for analyzing and controlling the financial results of our vessels, assisting in preparation and controlling of the financial results of the company and its subsidiaries plus assisting and monitoring the ongoing cash flow needs of the various operations.

A successful Assistant controller combines team working with good analytical and controlling skills with a thorough and all-round knowledge of accounting principles to analyze business results and periodical reports. He or she should be able to prepare and manage the accounting input resulting from the day to day accounting operations together with controlling the output that leads to the consolidated financial results of the company.

Responsibilities & Duties
• Assisting and managing the various accounting operations of the company and its subsidiaries;
• Analyzing and controlling the financial results of our vessels;
• Reconciling balance sheet and P&L items with underlying reports and specifications;
• Assisting in preparation of reliable financial reports related to the company and its subsidiaries;
• Liaising with internal and external auditors and assisting in preparation of proper audit files;
• Treasury activities and monitoring of cash flow needs for the various operations;
• Able to assist in reviewing and recommending improvements to accounting systems and procedures;
• Able to assist in setting up and maintaining proper ERP procedures related to commercial and operational activities.

Qualifications & skill set needed
