🌳A SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE FOR THE AKWA IBOM GREEN LEGACY INITIATIVE🌱

Spiral Hope Universal Foundation (SHUF) is pleased to announce a significant milestone in the implementation of the *One Million Economic Trees Planting Project (Akwa Ibom Green Legacy Initiative), following its official endorsement by Hon. Uwemedimo Udo, PhD., Executive Chairman of Uyo Local Government Area and Chairman, Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Akwa Ibom State, on behalf of ALGON.
Hon. Udo expressed profound appreciation for the vision and timeliness of the initiative, describing it as a practical and impactful climate action intervention that aligns strongly with the development priorities of the *ARISE Agenda of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD., Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State. He further commended the calibre, commitment, and expertise of the project team, including Prof. Ubong Asa, Dr. Lawrence Obinaju*, and other distinguished members.
This endorsement represents an important institutional encouragement to SHUF as we work toward mobilizing local governments, communities, schools, public institutions, private-sector actors, development partners, and other stakeholders across the 31 LGAs to facilitate the planting of one million economic trees within 12 months.
Beyond tree planting, the initiative seeks to advance climate resilience, food security, environmental conservation, livelihood opportunities, and sustainable local development across Akwa Ibom State.
