THE WHT REGULATIONS 2024 HAS BEEN GAZETTED

The Deduction of Tax at Source (Withholding) Regulations, 2024, has been published in the official gazette.

The Regulations grant rates reduction and full exemption from Withholding Tax to many businesses, including SMEs with annual turnover not exceeding N25 million. Read further details here: https://lnkd.in/d2D5TbKt

The commencement date of the new Regulations is 30th September 2024, while implementation begins on 1st January 2025 to allow for a minimum of 90 days notice required for tax changes in line with the 2017 National Tax Policy.

"My take on confusion rocking among the Christians lately".

We the Christians need to be very careful the way we comment and responds to issues of faith and most especially the current debates on tithing among others. For these could be the signs of end time just as we read in 1 Tim 4:1, That in later time some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons. Please don't get it confused, I am not saying you should title or not. Try to follow your believe and not what you read on social media or what your pastor's preached, for the scripture says you should hold fast what you have until I come. Rev. 2:25. We should have asked the question 'why now? Or why not before now the issue on tithing?. Remember the teaching of epistle Paul to Timothy, that the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching but having inching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 2 Tim 4:3-4. Mr freeze the principal advocacy on tithing could be an angel of the end time to test the faith of believers.

Please be informed that company registration has taken new dimension. We are now totally going online. Find below Step by Step on how to Register a Company (Private or Public)
1. Check for availability of proposed company name.

2. Reserve a new Name.

3. Complete pre-registration form – CAC1.1
(Online option) or (Download and fill)

4. Pay filing fee to CAC.

5. Pay Stamp duty fee to FIRS.

Steps 3-5 can be completed on COMPANY REGISTRATION PORTAL (CRP)

6. Prepare the signed scan copy of your pre-registration documents for upload as follows:
Form CAC1.1
Memorandum and Article of Association (MEMART)
Proficiency certificate (where applicable)
Recognized form of identification for Director(s)/Subscriber(s) and Secretary
Stamp duty receipt
Evidence of payment to CAC.

7. Upload the scanned documents for processing.

8. Submit the original copies of the documents uploaded at step 6 (Form CAC1.1, MEMART, etc) to the CAC office you had selected in exchange for your certificate and the Certified True copies of the documents.
