Job description of an accountant
Keeping and interpreting financial decisions by collecting, tracking, correcting and communicating the financial position of the Company. Also record transactions, compile and analyze Data.
Perform Audit, assist with budgets and financial forecast. Compute Taxes and report their findings to the Management, and other entities, such as the IRS or Investors.
Should be able to comply with Company, local State and Federal Accounting and Financial Regulations.
- Compiling, Analyzing, and reporting Financial Data.
- Creating periodic reports, such as balance Sheet, profit and Loss Statement etc.
- Presenting data to Managers, Investors, and other entities.
- Maintaining Accurate Financial Records
- Performing Audits and resolving discrepancies
- Computing Taxes
- Keeping informed about current legislations, relating to Finance and accounting.
- Assisting Management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecast.
