The Federal Teachers' Scheme (FTS) for the 2017 - 2019 service period

ELIGIBILITY
To participate in the Scheme candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

•Hold the Nigeria Certificate in Education 'NCE, obtained not earlier than 2013 from a recognized College of Education fully accredited by NCCE.
•Candidates should not be more than 40years of Age.
•Candidates should specialize in any of the following basic education subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Science, Vocational Education, (Arts) Nigerian and Foreign Languages.
•Candidate who are currently working and receiving salary or allowance from any organization (Public and Private) are not eligible to participate in the Scheme without first formally disengaging from the organization and -
•Must be ready to serve in any schools (no urban school posting)
•Schools located in remote rural and, sometimes; difficult to reach places.
•Schools identified through UBEC quality assurance to be without teachers.
•Nomadic schools
•Almajiri Schools
•Schools in internally displaced persons camp.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested candidates who fulfill the above stated conditions should submit applications with the relevant details to:

WAEC Jan/Feb GCE Registration Form 2018 is Out

WAEC January / February GCE Registration 2018 Commences

WAEC Gce registration details has been announced. The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has opened the online registration portal for the 2018 January / February General Certificate Examination (GCE) application.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), will begin conducting two series of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, as from 2018.

The First Series will be conducted between January and February, while the Second Series will be conducted between August and October every year.

​The WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2018 – First Series would be an urban based examination. Nineteen (19) subjects will be available for the examination.
