Pizza first, puzzles next! 🍕🔐

Our Greater KL audit colleagues recently took some time off for a well-deserved evening of food, fun and teamwork.

After fuelling up with pizza in the office, the team “escaped” from work — only to willingly lock themselves in another room for an escape room challenge! Split across four exciting missions — The Temple of Immortality, Alcatraz Island, Midnight Inn and Lost Kingdom — everyone raced against the clock to crack clues, solve puzzles and work together under pressure.

Congratulations to Team Midnight Inn for being the first to make their escape! 🏆

It was a night filled with laughter, friendly chaos and great team bonding. After all, who knew being trapped together could be this much fun?

Moore Penang Movie Night 🍿🎬

Lights down, phones off and the world on pause — sometimes, taking a break together is just as important as working together.

This week, our Moore Penang team came together for a Movie Night featuring Spider-Man: Brand New Day. With popcorn, drinks and the comfort of a cinema hall, it was a well-deserved break after a busy period at work.

The evening gave everyone a chance to unwind, catch up and strengthen the bonds that keep our team connected. After all, even superheroes need time to recharge before swinging into the next mission.

A big thank you to everyone who joined and made the night so enjoyable. Here’s to more meaningful moments together — both in and outside the workplace!

A refreshing Saturday escape to Raub, Pahang 🌿

Our Greater KL colleagues were warmly invited by one of our clients to visit her beautiful durian orchard in Raub, Pahang — a refreshing break from the city and our usual work routine.

Beyond the durian trees, the farm was filled with tropical fruits and produce, including langsat, bananas, papayas and fresh vegetables. Of course, the highlight was tasting the home-grown durians, including D24 and Musang King, each with its own unique flavour.

We also had the chance to unwind by a crystal-clear stream at the back of the farm, followed by a simple yet delicious lunch prepared by our generous host at the charming cottage.

It was a meaningful day of nature, good food and great company. Our heartfelt thanks to our client for the warm hospitality and for sharing such a memorable experience with us.

Moore Fruit Feast 🥥

Our usual workday got a little sweeter with a refreshing fruit feast at our Greater KL HQ — featuring local favourites such as durians, mangosteens, rambutans and coconuts.

It was the perfect reason to step away from our desks, enjoy good food, catch up with colleagues and share a few laughs along the way.

Moments like these remind us that a great workplace is built not only through the work we do, but also through the people, connections and shared experiences that bring us together.

Our Greater KL colleagues had a rewarding two days at UTAR Career Xplorer 2026, held at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Sungai Long Campus, and organised by the UTAR Accounting Society.

Throughout the event, we had the pleasure of meeting many enthusiastic students eager to explore career opportunities in professional services, including audit, tax, advisory and risk consulting. It was encouraging to see their curiosity, ambition and readiness to take the next step in their professional journey.

Beyond sharing life at Moore Malaysia and the opportunities we offer, the event was also a meaningful platform for conversations on career aspirations, professional growth and the skills needed to thrive in today’s evolving business landscape.
