MIA Accounting & Financial Technology Showcase 2026

Our team at CAL Cloud Sdn Bhd (CALTRiX) recently attended the MIA Accounting & Technology Showcase 2026, a valuable experience to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving profession.

This year’s conference placed strong emphasis on AI and automation in accounting, reinforcing a clear direction for the industry:
- Accountants must evolve beyond traditional work
- Digitalisation is no longer optional
- AI will be part of everyday workflows

Some key observations from the event:
- Many software providers are already embedding AI into their solutions
- However, most AI features are still evolving and maturity will take time
- The real opportunity lies in how firms adopt and integrate these tools into their processes

It was also encouraging to see our founder featured at the Xero booth, a reflection of our continuous work in helping businesses stay compliant with e-invoicing while scaling through cloud accounting.

Beyond the sessions, the event was a great platform to:
