Throwing it back to a special day that still feels like it happened yesterday! ✨🎓

Looking back at graduation, seeing 200 amazing graduates from Wilmington Metropolitan University (WMU) all together was unforgettable. Listening to the opening speech by Prof. Naga really set the perfect tone for the day.

For me, it was a huge milestone to officially receive my PhD. Walking across that stage and knowing I can finally be called Dr. Brenda Yong was a beautiful reward for years of hard work and late nights.

This journey reminded me that life is short and every single moment counts. We should always challenge ourselves and let our curiosity lead the way. My own research in neuroscience, neurofinance, and multi-generational legacy wealth building has opened doors and taken me on paths I never could have imagined when I first started.

If there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s that we shouldn't compare ourselves to others. Greatest benchmark is not what other does, but what is the best version of ourselves aligned with our inner inspiration resilient and courage to see innovation and truth beyond our mind can comprehend.

My biggest hope is that the things I teach can truly help people and their families for years to come. At the end of the day, a real legacy isn't about titles—it’s about the positive impact we leave on the hearts and minds of the people we love and serve.

I am deeply moved by the incredible feedback from the students at Jiangsu University following my recent financial literacy talk. Reading their thoughts has been a powerful reminder of why I stepped into becoming an educator

Hearing how the concepts of neurofinance and multi-generational legacy opened new horizons for future business leaders. We don't just teach curriculum; we build bridges to real-world impact !

Some of the students commented and affirmed that the sessions left them highly inspired and motivated than any other talk they'd ever attended , you inspire me just as much as I hope to inspire you.

This landmark engagement reinforces my commitment to global educational stewardship. I am more energized than ever to continue empowering the next generation of global leaders to confidently build, grow, and forge resilient new frontiers.

What an eye-opening and beautiful journey it has been! My recent trip to Beijing has left me feeling so inspired and incredibly grateful. 🌟🇨🇳

Of course, no visit to Beijing is complete without the food! I had the absolute best time enjoying some world-famous, authentic Peking Duck. Watching them carve it right at the table and tasting that perfect crispy skin was such a treat! 🦆😋

But beyond the amazing food, what really blew me away was seeing how much China has grown over the last 20 years. Witnessing their transformation in person was a total eye-opener. 🏙️🚀

From their super-advanced tech and seamless digital payments to their massive, bustling university campuses, it is incredible to see what can be built with clear vision and hard work. 📈💡

My heart is overflowing with profound gratitude as I reflect on an absolutely spectacular evening in Nanjing. 🌟

To make my very first official appearance as Dr. Brenda Yong in an academic setting has been a deeply humbling milestone in my lifelong journey of learning, leadership, and service. To God be the glory, great things He has done! 🙌👑

A heartfelt thank you to Prof. Nana for the gracious invitation to join the prestigious 2026 Jiangsu University. Nestled in a city rich with history, Jiangsu University stands as a brilliant national key university, proudly fostering a vibrant community of over 2,700 dedicated academics and more than 40,000 ambitious students. It is a massive, thriving engine of global talent and innovative leadership! 🏛️📚

It was a truly awe-inspiring evening witnessing global families coming together from all corners of the world to learn, grow, exchange deep insights, and celebrate momentous milestones in their lives. 🌍❤️

Having the heart of an educator myself, nothing moves me more than seeing a new generation being empowered with the integrity, wisdom, and vision to forge a brand new frontier. Wow. It is simply awesome to witness! 🚀💡

Taking a little time away on this holiday has given me the perfect space to slow down, breathe, and drift back into a quiet memory recap of recent milestones—moments . Holding these trophies, my heart was filled with a deep sense of humility. While I am incredibly honored by the recognition, these awards aren't just about the "win" or the accolades. What they truly represent is stewardship—of the time, wisdom, and lives that have been entrusted to me.

Receiving three major awards feels like a beautiful milestone, especially as I look back on a journey that spans over 20 years in this beautiful, demanding industry.

Success was never built in a day. It was crafted over two decades of constant growth, evolution, and stepping into the next right thing. Started my path as a dedicated Financial Adviser evolving into a Financial Coach, focusing on the heart and mindset of wealth and moving into Corporate Consulting, helping businesses and families build lasting structural frameworks.

The journey has been a rich tapestry of "sweet, bitter, and spicy" moments. There were seasons of smooth sailing, and seasons that required immense resilience. But as I sit here enjoying this holiday, I am deeply grateful for every single one of those tough, stretching seasons which didn't just build a career; they widened my understanding of how life, faith, finance, and family dynamics truly intersect

Reflecting on a Beautiful Afternoon at GNG2
My heart is overflowing as I look back on last Friday’s GNG2 event. It was an absolutely beautiful session of peace, purpose, and connection, where an amazing group of ladies came together to embrace a much-needed "gentle pause" from the noise of daily life.

The interactive workshop was designed to be a seamless blend of deep learning and pure fun. Together, we explored how to align our life purpose with our wealth and financial goals.

But we didn’t just work—we made sure to nourish our minds, bodies, and souls:
👣 Relaxation: Melting away stress with a pampering foot massage session
☕ Connection: Sharing stories and laughter over a beautiful hi-tea session.
🍃 Nature: Stepping outside for an intentional outdoor experience, learning about the power of perspective.
The energy was great and the networking blossomed into genuine sisterhood, where women lifted each other up with joy and shared wisdom.

We even had the beautiful opportunity to celebrate the birthday of one of our wonderful participants! As I always say, being able to celebrate life and milestones together in a safe, faith-filled ecosystem is an absolute privilege.🎊💐

To every lady who joined us, your ready minds, and your open hearts—thank you. You are the reason this community flourishes. When women rise together with clarity and financial resilience, entire families and generations are transformed.

A Night of Gold, Glitters, and Gratitude ✨👠
Reflecting on a wonderful evening from last week’s UOB Gala Dinner Red Carpet Night. It was a spectacular event where the room was truly glowing—not just from the lights, but from the incredible energy of everyone present.

One of the best parts of the night was meeting so many familiar faces. In a demanding industry like ours, these moments to reconnect outside of the boardroom are so precious. We often focus on the hard work of building legacies, but catching up with friends and colleagues reminds me that the relationships we build are the truest form of wealth.

I absolutely loved seeing all the beautiful gold and glitter outfits! Everyone stepped out in such style and elegance. There is something so joyful about a room full of people celebrating their hard work and milestones with such radiance.
Beyond the awards and the red carpet, it was simply a FUN time. It was a much-needed "gentle pause" to laugh, celebrate, and enjoy the fruits of our collective labor. It reminded me that while we are serious about the work we do for families and dynasties, we also make space for joy and celebration.

Last weekend was a powerful celebration of commitment and excellence at the UOB Award Night. As I stood there, reflecting on the journey, I was humbled to receive another year of global recognition.

I am truly honored to have qualified for the Court of the Table (COT). This global recognition is a reminder of the discipline and resilience this industry requires. It is a demanding path, but one that is incredibly rewarding because of the trust families place in us to steward their futures.

what touched my heart most was being recognized as the TOP Fee-Based Adviser—a milestone I have held for 18 years, from my early days at Standard Financial Adviser (SFA) until today at UOB.
When I started 18 years ago, the concept of being "fee-based" was a lonely frontier. It was unheard of to ask clients to value our time, wisdom, and experience as a professional service. Choosing this path wasn't the easy way; it was a commitment to a higher standard of transparency and long-term stewardship.

To me, this award belongs to the families who believed in that vision—who understood that professional advice is a bridge to a lasting legacy.

They say this is one of the top 5 most demanding careers in the world, and I’ve certainly felt the weight of that responsibility over nearly two decades. It isn’t always easy, but when I see a family find clarity or a next-generation leader step up with confidence, I know the effort is worth it.

Finance is more than just wealth; it’s about providing freedom and options for the people we love.

I want to thank UOB and my "faith-filled ecosystem" of colleagues and partners. Most importantly, thank you to the clients who have walked with me for 18 years. You have taught me that a legacy is built one small win at a time, rooted in mutual respect and shared values.

I am stepping into this next season with a grateful heart, continuing to do the work I love for the cause I care deeply about.
