🚨 Public Alert: Be Aware of Unlicensed Audit, Accounting & Tax Service Providers
The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) has recently issued an announcement warning the public that several companies have been advertising and/or providing audit, accounting and taxation services without being registered with MIA or holding a valid MIA practising certificate, as required under the Accountants Act 1967.
According to MIA, the following companies have been identified:
1) MBA AL FALAH SDN BHD [Registration No. (201901004270) (1313597-K)] No. 11-G, Jalan Bidara 7/1, Saujana Utama 3, 47000 Sungai Buloh, Selangor.
2) BAYU ACES SOLUTIONS [Registration No. (202103168422) (003278423-A)] No. 36-1, Jalan JED 4, Bandar Parklands, 41200 Klang, Selangor.
3) SRSM CONSULTANCY [Registration No. (201703144830) (SA0422518-T)] No. 18-1, Jalan Barat 1/KS1, Pusat Perniagaan, Jalan Raya Barat, 41100 Klang, Selangor.
4) PROMPT MANAGEMENT SERVICES [Registration No. (200903278517) (JM0557364-M)] No. 18A, Jalan Bandar Cemerlang 3/1, Bandar Cemerlang, 81800 Ulu Tiram, Johor.
⚠️ Before engaging any firm for audit, accounting or tax services, always verify that the practitioner is a registered MIA member with a valid practising certificate. This helps protect your business and ensures you are receiving services from qualified and authorised professionals.
